A Few of the latest. He's five months now.

Starting to fall asleep where ever he wants.

Bouncer keeps him quiet sometimes

Waiting for his food!

Don't I look so cool!?

Daddy is gone for two whole weeks!

I dropped Chris off at the airport yesterday. He has a two week job in California. Part of me really wishes I could have gone but the other part says it would be no fun if he's working the whole time.

Looks like I'll stay here and see if I can handle Hudson alone. Lucky for me it's a holiday weekend and I only have to work two days next week. Then I am headed to St. George to see my family and pick up Nautica to bring her to our house for awhile. I can't wait to have her here. She is such a sweet and helpful girl!

Lucky for us we have installed Skype on our computers and on Chris' iphone. We can call each other and video chat. Chris can still see Hudson while he's away.  I got to say hello to my in-laws face to face last night as well.

Hudson loves his bouncer!

Every day is an up and down.

Hudson grows so much day to day and week to week. We love him so much and have so much fun with him. We also get frustrated with him as well. He is a little over 4 and 1/2 months old now. He still suffers from his reflux. He still doesn't sleep through the night, and he still has many many cranky moments. For all of the rough stuff, we wouldn't trade him for the world! On the other hand here are a few of the fun things we love about our little boy:

He is incredibly happy in the morning.

He is still breastfeeding. (Go mom!)

He weighs over 16 pounds now.

He loves his rice cereal, he can't get enough.

He is very ticklish!

He is obsessed with the outdoors.

He likes to  sit in his bouncer or bumbo and stare out the window and watch the dogs in the back yard.

He loves Dinosaur Train, Word World and Wonder Pets.

He loves to go shopping, but hates the car ride to and from.

He loves to listen to music.

He watches us eat with this look on his face like, "I can't wait for that"!

He is pretty good at sipping water from moms glass.

Mom and dad think it pretty funny when he passes gas.

He loves to pee in his bath.

He loves when mom reads him books.

All in  all Hudson is a healthy little boy with a big world to learn about. We can't wait until Nautica is out of school for the summer. She'll be with us for a couple weeks. She can't wait to get to know her little brother better.

First cereal

We saw the doctor this morning. He says we should start on cereal. So here we go......

Mommy made me a woobie

He loves to put it in his mouth.

Note the bandaids. He had his four month shots that morning.
I saw this "woobie" display at a fabric store and thought wow, that looks easy! The minki fabric is expensive but it turns out that Hudson really likes it. I have enough material to make severa,l so when I wash them or can't find it I'll always have one on hand.
