Baby Hudson is here!!!

I went to bed the night of the 27th. I was having contractions all night but kept rolling over thinking "oh they'll just go away again". Around 4:30 am I was doubled over the side of my bed in pain. I got in the shower to get ready for work, thinking the contractions will stop of I get in the shower just like last time. I dried my hair and even put on make-up through all of this. I told Chris if I have two more contractions like this we were going to the hospital. We got in the car and on the freeway I didn't feel anything. As soon as we got to I-15 they were non stop. As we parked at the hospital I could barely walk. We got to the nurse's desk and I was so afraid they would send me home but they put me in a room to check me and told me I was dilated to a 6/7 and that earned me a delivery room. I got an epidural and an IV around 6:30 or so and Hudson was born at 12:47pm December 28th. He weighed 7lbs. 10 oz. and was 19 inches long. We are so happy!

A merry little Christmas

Chris and I have realized that this will be our last Christmas alone. It's been quiet. Chris got up and made breakfast and then we opened the gifts. We laid around and watch netflix then took the dogs for a walk. We came home and uploaded the photos and it's only noon. I can't wait to hear from Nautica after she opens her gifts from us at grandma's house. We hope you all have had a merry Christmas as well.

The annual Urology Christmas party

37 weeks

Mr. Handsome

Dr. Bishoff and a random Santa

Dr. Putman passing out some white elephant gifts.

Pam Shelton and I

Some of the ladies

More of the ladies.

I ended up going home with the white elephant gift I had brought to the party. (note the t-shirt) I picked it out because it is something we say in the O.R. all of the time. My co-workers saw it funny that I got it in the end.

Dog days of Christmas

We found the head gear for Dog's Christmas shoot today! It went much better than I expected. Chris set up the camera in the living room and we had the dog treats and dog toys ready for bribing!  I liked how they turned out! So much that they made it on our Christmas cards.
